I read from the Interfaith Gathering webpage from the Democratic Convention a disturbing presence.
Their very own webpage contains the following exact text.
"Democrats have been, are and will continue to be people of faith - and this interfaith gathering is proof of that. As Convention CEO and a pastor myself, I am incredibly proud that these esteemed leaders from the faith community will be with us to celebrate this historic occasion and honor the diverse faith traditions inside the Democratic Party." -Rev. Leah D. Daughtry."
The Democratic National Convention Committee will host the first-ever Democratic National Convention interfaith gathering, the first official event for the 2008 Convention. The interfaith gathering will be held at 2:00 pm MT, Sunday, August 24 at the Wells Fargo Theater, inside the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colo. Bishop Charles E. Blake, presiding prelate of the Church of God In Christ, Inc. and pastor at the West Angeles Church of God in Christ; Dr. Ingrid Mattson, president of the Islamic Society of North America; Sister Helen Prejean, social activist and author of "Dead Man Walking;" and Rabbi Tzvi Weinreb, executive vice president of the Orthodox Union, will lead the event. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. The period for requesting tickets is now closed."

Lets show you who these people are, as they represent the Democrat Party's ideals of Faith.

First, the presence of Dr. Ingrid Mattson, president of the Islamic Society of North America is the most disturbing, as I just received the following from Americans Against Hate regarding this man. He is a HAMAS co-conspirator, recently prograting material calling for murder of Jews and Christians.  Being a Christian, this terrorist thinking hate-monger should be banned from the presences of Jews and Christians.

ANTI-HATE GROUP CALLS ON DEMOCRATS TO DISINVITE RADICAL MUSLIM LEADER FROM CONVENTION ISNA, A NAMED HAMAS CO-CONSPIRATOR, RECENTLY PROPAGATED MATERIAL CALLING FOR MURDER OF JEWS (Denver, CO) Americans Against Hate (AAH) is calling on the Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) to disinvite Ingrid Mattson, the National President of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), from speaking at its Denver convention. Mattson is scheduled to help lead a convention interfaith forum tomorrow, Sunday, August 24th. ISNA, a group related to the violent Muslim Brotherhood, was named by the U.S. government a co-conspirator for a 2007 federal trial which dealt with the financing of millions of dollars to Hamas. Also, as recently as last month, under Mattson's watch, ISNA propagated material on its national website calling for the murder of Jews and the waging of war against Jews and Christians.

The violent ISNA documents can be viewed here. AAH Chairman Joe Kaufman stated, “It is unconscionable for the Democratic leadership to allow the head of a group that is connected to terrorism and that spreads hate against others to participate in a political convention. We demand that Mattson be disinvited from speaking at the Democratic Convention immediately. ISNA and Mattson should be condemned for their actions.” AAH encourages everyone concerned to respectfully express his/her feelings on this matter, by contacting the DNCC at (720) 362-2008. This notice was sent by  Joe Kaufman who is available for interview. E-mail: info@americansagainsthate.org
