Grand Forks Sector - Border Patrol agents assisted the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) in the search for two individuals whose boat capsized.
USCG Auxiliary responded but terminated their search due to poor weather and high wind. CBP Air and Marine (A&M) and USCG aircraft were contacted but were unable to respond due to weather conditions. Border Patrol agents launched a Safe Boat and located two United States Citizens (USCs) floating on the debris of their boat. Agents transported the two individuals to the marina where they were met and transported a hospital in Roseau, Minnesota to be treated for hypothermia.
Rio Grande Valley Sector - Border Patrol agents seized 1,742 pounds of marijuana and arrested a male USC at the Sarita, Texas checkpoint. The subject, driving a 2002 Freightliner arrived at the checkpoint and a canine alerted to his trailer. A search of the trailer revealed 55 bundles of marijuana concealed in watermelon crates.
Swanton Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested a foreign national and seized $276,152 in cash and a 2006 Toyota Tundra in Pittsburgh, New Hampshire. Agents encountered the vehicle after it was involved in a single vehicle accident. A Border Patrol canine alerted to the interior of the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed the currency concealed in the door panels.
Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents responded to a Pima County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) 911 call from an unidentified subject who stated that she was part of a group lost in the desert. Border Patrol agents and CBP A&M responded to the area and spotted four unidentified subjects near a signal fire. All arrestees were processed for removal.

Laredo Sector - Border Patrol agents seized 3,199 pounds of marijuana and arrested a USC at the Laredo, Texas checkpoint. The subject arrived at the checkpoint in a 1997 Freightliner towing a 1994 utility trailer. A Border Patrol canine alerted to the trailer and a subsequent search revealed 190 bundles of marijuana in crates.
San Diego Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested a foreign national who was an admitted Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang member.

Yuma Sector - Border Patrol agents rescued two illegal aliens near Wellton, Arizona who had activated a rescue beacon.

El Centro Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien who had been previously removed from the U.S. and was convicted of committing Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Child under 14 Years of Age in Buena Park, California.
El Centro Sector A Border Patrol agent fired several shots at a 1993 Chevrolet Truck, which was a suspected smuggling load vehicle that attempted to run him and his partner over. In an attempt to elude the agents, the suspect vehicle backed into the Border Patrol vehicle striking it and one of the agents. Multiple subjects absconded from the vehicle including the driver. Four illegal aliens were arrested.
San Diego Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien parolee who admitted to being a member of the MS-13 gang.
Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested a USC and eight illegal aliens, and seized a marijuana plant, a .357 handgun, 5 assault rifles, 1 hunting rifle with a scope, 1 shotgun, 1 semi-automatic handgun, a set of night vision goggles, and various amounts of ammunition at a local residence in Nogales, Arizona. While in the process of arresting two illegal aliens outside of a home in Nogales, agents noticed a marijuana plant growing in a pot in the rear of the home. DEA was notified, responded and received consent to search the home. Agents received consent to search the second home on the same property and found six more illegal aliens, the weapons, ammunition, and night vision goggles. Record checks revealed that one of the seized weapons was reported stolen.
Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien near Sasabe, Arizona. The alien admitted to being a Sureno 13 gang member.

Laredo Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien near Laredo, Texas who was identified by INTERPOL as an escapee from a prison in Honduras. The subject was affiliated with the MS-13 gang.
Rio Grande Valley Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien near La Gloria, Texas who stated he was affiliated with the MS-13 gang.

Detroit Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an Iraqi National who was previously ordered deported from the United States and was convicted of cocaine trafficking and possession of an explosive device in Detroit. The subject has an active warrant of arrest for aggravated assault issued by Wayne County, Michigan Sheriff's Office (WCSO).
El Paso Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested three illegal aliens who stated they were assaulted by two unidentified subjects in Mexico. The three illegal aliens stated that they left their vehicle in Mexico near the riverbank and crossed the Rio Grande River in order to escape the assault. One of the three stated he was struck on the leg with a baseball bat.
Rio Grande Valley Sector - Border Patrol agents responded to a report from the Falfurrias Police Department (FPD) involving a vehicle accident and arrested twelve illegal aliens. The vehicle had been observed by the FPD loading suspected illegal aliens and attempted a vehicle stop that resulted in a vehicle accident.
San Diego Sector - Border Patrol agents heard several gunshots north of their location near Campo, California. Agents conducted a search of the area and encountered a USC, without a firearm in his possession, at his residence who stated he had fired several shots in the air towards Mexico. The individual appeared to be intoxicated and was stating his displeasure of agents, after which he went back inside his house. The San Diego County Sheriff's Office (SDCSO) arrived on scene and warned the individual of the legal consequences that could result from indiscriminately discharging a firearm. No injuries were reported and no arrests were made.
San Diego Sector - Border Patrol agents reported that an unidentified subject in Mexico fired a single shot at agents approximately three miles west of the San Ysidro, California port of entry. No injuries or arrests were reported.
San Diego Sector - Border Patrol agents reported that an agent fired several rounds at a suspected load vehicle after his vehicle was rammed from behind near Douglas, Arizona. An agent was following a suspected load vehicle when his Service vehicle was rammed from behind by another vehicle near the International Border. The assaulted agent fired several rounds at the vehicle that rammed his vehicle. The agent sustained no injuries. The two suspected load vehicles were able to abscond back into Mexico. Agents seized a third load vehicle and 1,056 pounds of marijuana.

El Centro Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Calexico, California. Record checks revealed that he is a convicted sex offender in Stockton, California and has an outstanding warrant for a sex offense issued by the San Joaquin, California County Sheriff's Office (SJCSO).
Laredo Sector - Border Patrol agents reported observing a single vehicle accident and the arrest of an illegal-entrant driver and passenger. An agent observed the driver attempt to pick up the passenger after she illegally entered into the United States. The driver saw the agent and attempted to drive in reverse for several blocks before the vehicle flipped over.
San Diego Sector - Border Patrol agents responded to a report of a possible vehicle incursion near Jacumba, California and heard three shots they believed were directed at them. Agents were unable to determine if the shots originated in the U.S. or Mexico.
Tucson Sector - Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal-alien from Mexico near the Lukeville, Arizona port of entry. A search of the subject revealed four vials of an unknown substance which later tested positive for liquid heroin.
