Hannity: Bloodshed south of the border in spiraling out of control and the effect is being felt, right here in America... Mexican drug cartels are waging an increasingly bloody battle for control of smuggling routes into the United States. ...The violence does not stay south of the border. Two hundred miles north of the Sonora, a Phoenix Swat Team raids a house on a residential street. Inside they find twenty one illegal aliens being held for ransom against their will. ...It's a scene a scene that plays out over and over again in Phoenix where the kidnapping problem is exploding.

Sgt. Phil Roberts, Phoenix Police Department: In 2007 we had 359 extortion related kidnappings... Ninety-nine percent of tall the kidnappings we are investigating are in some way related to illegal border activity. Hannity: So far both the suspects and victims have been related to Mexican border crimes... so far all the crimes have one thing in common – severe brutality.

Lt. Laurit Burgett, Phoenix Police Dept: We have seen acts of violence that are very extreme. They're held and tortured for a week, and sometimes shot.
