A December 20, 2001 Associated Press report stated: “During last year’s Ramadan fast, MSA-NEWS urged campus groups to purchase a videotape called ‘The Martyrs of Bosnia’ and show it to Muslim-only gatherings. The video was sold by London-based Azzam Productions (named after one of the founders of al-Qaeda), which featured articles on its web site such as ‘Taliban: Allah’s Blessing on Afghanistan,’ and solicited funds there for the Taliban rulers in Afghanistan. The site and a related German site were shut down by the British and German governments as part of their Sept. 11 response.”76

During the week of October 22-26, 2007, the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week (IFAW) activities – whose aim was to educate students about the grave threat that radical Islam posed to the world – were held at Ohio State and 113 other college campuses across the United States.

In response to IFAW, MSA OSU joined with the campus chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in sponsoring an educational forum titled “Interfaith Relations - the Muslim Perspective” which featured a speech by Jamal Badawi, whose past and present group affiliations include the following Muslim Brotherhood fronts – the Fiqh Council of North America, the Islamic Society of North America, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, and the Muslim American Society as well as the Muslim Brotherhood itself.

Badawi, who has decreed it a religious “duty” for all able-bodied Muslims to wage jihad against the American military, also has ties to Yousef Al-Qaradawi, one of the most influential clerics in Sunni Islam who has asserted that Palestinian suicide bombings “are not in any way included in the framework of prohibited terrorism, even if the victims include some civiliains.”77
