During February and March 2008, Irans Sahar TV, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcastings (IRIB) foreign language channel that broadcasts in Urdu, French, English, and other languages, aired cartoons as fillers throughout the day.
The cartoon soundtrack is highly reminiscent of Disney's The Lion King and of Warner Brothers' "Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner" and other Loony Tunes cartoons, and characters' exclamations sound like those of Homer Simpson and other well-known cartoon characters.
