Obama takes big risk on driver's license issue

(01-28) 04:00 PST Washington -- Sen. Barack Obama easily won the African American vote in South Carolina, but to woo California Latinos, where he is running 3-to-1 behind rival Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, he is taking a giant risk: spotlighting his support for the red-hot issue of granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.

It's a huge issue for Latinos, who want them. It's also a huge issue for the general electorate, which most vehemently does not. Obama's stand could come back to haunt him not only in a general election, but with other voters in California, where driver's licenses for illegal immigrants helped undo former Gov. Gray Davis.

Now, look at Obama's website, and his page on Immigration. He states information on his 3 amendments to the last immigration reform bill, that he helped craft. He states

"Senator Obama offered three amendments that were included in the Senate bill. The first amendment would strengthen the requirement that a job be offered at a prevailing wage to American workers before it is offered to a guestworker. The second amendment would make it simple, but mandatory, for employers to verify that their employees are legally eligible to work in the United States. And the third amendment would authorize $3 million a year for the FBI to improve the speed and accuracy of the background checks required for immigrants seeking to become citizens."
 
How much of a night mare is this going to be, if the illegals all have drivers licenses? I even asked my own 16 year old son this question.

I asked "What do you think about giving illegal aliens drivers licenses?"

He had the most puzzled look on his face trying to digest that question.  To a 16 year old, this question made absolutely NO SENSE (nonsense) to him, it "just did not compute".

Our pandering politicians have no SENSE OF BEING THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA anymore! I am fed up with them! They all make me sick now, WHERE IS A TRUE AMERICAN!??????

Let me coin a phrase for you.  THEY ARE JELLYFISH WITH MOUTHS... NO GUT, NO BRAIN, NO BACK BONE.....and they just seem to float, and if you happen to touch one, they will sting the crap out of you!
