Wian: Oklahoma's Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act becomes law this week. Among other things, it gives state and local police broader powers to enforce immigration law, prevents illegal aliens from obtaining driver's licenses or other state benefits, and requires employers doing business with the state to verify their workers are legal residents.[...] But the National Coalition of Latino Clergy is suing to block the law, calling it a political cancer of racial intolerance.
